Ramona Chan is an NYC-based graphic designer

I graduated from New York University in 2024 with a major in Global Liberal Studies—Creative Production and double minors in Business and French. I’m currently pursuing my second bachelor’s degree at Fashion Institute of Technology with a major in Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing.

Learning is a constant.

For me, design is never static. Every project is a new opportunity to dig deeper, challenge myself, and discover something I didn’t know yesterday.

Being born and raised in the Philippines, then studying and working in New York and Paris, I’ve had the privilege of learning from and designing for people from all walks of life. I'm fascinated by how culture shapes creativity and it’s made me more attuned to the diversity of thought and backgrounds that influence design.

My educational and professional journey hasn’t followed a straight line, and I think that’s what’s shaped me most. It's made me multifaceted, always eager to learn, try new things, and find unexpected connections between disciplines.

I served as the lead designer for the NYU WomenLead initiative, a university-wide campaign celebrating the achievements of women leaders globally. I wanted to make sure that the design not only reflected the strength and diversity of the women featured, but also amplified the initiative’s core mission to spotlight the real-time impact of women, shaping policy and challenging gender inequity.

At the end of the day, I’m just someone who’s endlessly curious about people and design and how the two can come together to shape something meaningful–when I’m not busy rewatching Empire Strikes Back for the millionth time.

Let’s create something that teaches us both something new!
